Plus-Size Mannequins

The term "plus-size" in reference to manikins is a little deceptive, as most manikins are anything but normal size... female mannequins are usually a size 6. So, a plus-size mannequin may be as small as a 10 or 12, which in the world of people is NOT plus sized, but certainly qualifies in the world of Twiggy-shaped mannequins.

Although the recent trends in mannequins have been to increase sizes (and breast and buttock sizes... check out the Narrow Bridge's line!), the selection of larger mannequins is much smaller than that of their skinny counterparts. Do a little searching, however, and you will find a few.

Male manikins larger than a size 40 chest are more rare still. But manufacturers are beginning to catch on and realize that clothing retailers need displays that reflect their customers, and that certainly not all (not even a majority!) of them are this size.

Keep looking and you will find the larger size mannequin you need to display your clothing!
