Whether you are the purveyor of a military clothing store or a collector of military uniforms, mannequins are essential in displaying the splendor and detail of the clothing. Unlike years past when most manikins were created in sissy, department store poses, mannequins today are sometimes targeted directly at those who love all things military.
There are flexible mannequins that can take any combat pose imaginable, as well as static mannequins in familiar stances such as at-ease. Harder to find, though, are petite mannequins to display vintage uniforms. Retailers are beginning to fill some of the gaps in mannequin sizes and styles; with luck, there will soon be choices of men's mannequins that include smaller, shorter models. Mannequins with less "pretty-boy" faces would also be a welcome change.
